On March 10, 2005, MediciNova, Inc. announced in a press release that it will announce its financial results for the 2004 fiscal year on March 22, 2005 and will hold a conference in Tokyo on March 23, 2005 for the investment community and media. The webcast of such conference will be available for replay on the Company’ website.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - March 10, 2005 — MediciNova, Inc. (Code Number: 4875, Hercules OSE) will announce its financial results for the fiscal year of 2004 on Tuesday, March 22, 2005. MediciNova will also hold a conference in Tokyo on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 for the investment community and media.
